I offer counseling and welcome individuals, friends, partners, family members (human and non-human), collectives, groups, and organizations.
In my counseling work, I reflect on social and systemic issues, therefore I am especially open and interested to work with:
- people involved in activist and political work, or being part of various movements for equ(al)ity, justice and peace
- women, trans*, inter*, agender, genderqueer, non-binary
- black, indigenous and people of color
- queer, lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, homoflexible, heteroflexible
- asexual, greysexual, demisexual
- people with experience of altered states, psychosis, depression, anxiety, and other medical diagnoses with or without the experience of psychiatric treatment
- people with: various body sizes and shapes; disabilities and different abilities; chronic, acute or psychosomatic illnesses; sleeping challenges; eating challenges (anorexia, bulimia); experiences of body dysphoria (gender related, BIID body integrity identity disorder, BDD body dysmorphic disorder); older people
- people of various neurotypes: ADHD and autism spectrum
- people with various relationship practices (ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, relationship anarchy, open relationships, non-normative families)
- people into various kink, fetish, BDSM practices
I want to emphasize that it is not the duty of clients to pay the counselors for the time to explain their experiences of being “othered”. It is the duty of the counselor to inform themselves about it as much as they can, with possible pointers from the client. Furthermore, the experience of being “othered” should not become a focal point in counseling, unless the client wants it.
Besides other things about me, in this sense
- anti-capitalist, materialist/Marxist feminist, (having been) involved in leftist and climate justice/crisis activism
- agender, although I also politically identify as a woman
- white and Slav
- atheist, spirituality-friendly (I see it mainly as a planetary connection, such as ecology and economy)
- pro-choice
- vaccinated, pro COVID safety
- queer and demisexual
- ADHD neurotype, late discovered/diagnosed which cost me a lot in many ways
- experience of burnout, possibly cPTSD
- able-bodied, with socially well accepted body
- vegan wannabe, although not there yet
- in between polyamory and (preferably) relationship anarchy
- kinky in some areas and curious in others.
